Network Spinal Analysis uses light touches at specific access points along the spinal column.

Network spinal analysis entrainments (or adjustments) consist of light touches at specific areas of the spinal column. There are no sudden movements or cavitation (cracking). At times, the touches are so light that they are barely felt. It is a gentle approach, safe and not painful, and is very suitable, for example, for individuals suffering from fibromyalgia and osteoporosis. In all entrainments you are fully clothed.

Your body contains an autonomic mechanism that synchronizes you with strong, external rhythms, pulses or beats; a phenomenon known as an entrainment. Actually, we entrain to the rhythms around us all the time, but most of the time we are not aware of it.

An entrainment occurs when different parts of a system are in harmony with others and thus operate with higher efficiency. We can observe this phenomenon when a group of birds synchronize their movements with each other so that they can fly more efficiently and for long periods of time.

NSA entrainments are given in an open room with more than one person at a time so that we can mutually entrain each other, increasing the benefit of care.

You and your baby can safely receive Network Care. In fact, we highly recommend it for your health and the wellbeing of your baby, and to ensure that your body is functioning at its optimum potential.

Network entrainments last approximately 20 minutes, and are done fully clothed. Level 1 - Discover Care is done while laying face down on the chiropractic table whereas Level 2 and 3 - Advanced Care is done while lying sideways, on the back or sitting.

The recommended visit frequency for you will depend on your body's current condition and on your goals for health and wellness. Some individuals are satisfied after their symptoms go away and stop care. However, most continue to receive care because they notice significant and constant improvements in their general health and wellbeing.

  • Level 1- Discover Care - lasts about 2 months at a frequency of 2-3 times a week
  • Level 2- Transform Care lasts about 3 to 9 months at a frequency of 2 to 4 times a month
  • Level 3- Awaken and Integration Care is determined according to personal objectives

Research shows that significant changes in a person's physical, mental and emotional state occur within the first eight weeks of care. It also reveals improvements in all areas of health and wellness in people under Network Care for more than two years. The findings suggest that enhanced wellness related to Network Care, increases with time. In fact, there appears to be no limit to the improvement of a person's physical and emotional health, their ability to adapt to stress and their enhanced quality of life.

After your initial examination and reviewing the results of your report of findings, we will guide you in planning your goals for care.

Like learning a musical instrument, the strategies of Network Spinal Analysis are developped with repetition. It is during this initial intensive period that your nervous system will detect that it is functionning in defense physiology and that it would be preferable for it to use new strategies in order to move from defense to safety and then further, from safety to growth.

With every entrainment, we check for certain precise parameters and one of them is the tension in your ankles. The tension in the ankles reflects the tension in the nervous system. We observe regularly this tension during entrainments to evaluate the way your body is responding to the different contacts given.

When we receive NSA, the chiropractor delivers light touches to specific access point to our nervous system, called Spinal Gateways. Spinal Gateways are mostly located in the area of the neck and pelvis (sacrum and coccyx), and communicate directly to the frontal cortex of the brain. Network care stimulates the prefrontal cortex which activates profound changes in the body.

Studies show that there is an increased neural activity in the frontal cortex with Network Care. An improvement in mental and emotional health results from this increased activity of the frontal cortex. When we use this part of the brain, we are more compassionate, creative, joyful and more connected to ourselves and others.

When we receive Network care, two healing waves unique to Network are developed in the body. The first one, the Respiratory Wave, is a deep ondulating breath which releases tensions and relaxes the body. The second one, the Somato-Psychic Wave, occurs in more advanced care. This wave generates an undulating movement along the spine and permits a re-organization of the system. A substantial increase of wellbeing is attributed to this phenomena.

Network Spinal Analysis (NSA) was created in 1985 by Dr. Donald Epstein, a New-York Chiropractor. Dr. Epstein has also developed Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI). Both NSA and SRI are revolutionary methods that promote enhanced well-being.

Dr. Epstein has published several books: The Twelve Stages of Healing, Healing Myths, Healing Magic and The Boomerang Principle. His methods have been researched at universities, and some have been incorporated into postgraduate programs in several disciplines. His work has been featured on television as well as in numerous magazines, professional journals and newspapers around the world.

Yes there are many. A central retrospective study was conducted in 1995-1996 on 2818 people receiving Network Care. The findings showed that Network Care is associated to profound improvements in the physical, emotional and mental wellbeing, as well as improvements in the quality of life and healthy lifestyle choices.

NSA is a wonderful gift for any child. NSA assists the body in developing wellness strategies early in life. It helps children perceive the environment with less stress, express their emotions more effectively, have more awareness of their spines, verbalize a body sense awareness, or emotion, make healthier internally-guided choices, and meet the world with greater love.

During the course of Network Care, parents often remark that their child's disposition has improved. They also note that their child is learning better in school, is sleeping better and is more at peace.

We can establish new spinal strategies for infants and children that allow for greater self-observation and regulation of spinal tension patterns. It is extremely important for developing children and young adults to have a nervous system that can support a positive way of being in the world. A more flexible spine makes for a more flexible life.
